If you’re preparing for an upcoming interview with us then we’d like to say thank you, for sharing your time and your story. We understand that stepping in front of a camera can feel daunting, but our goal is to make the process as relaxed and rewarding as possible.

Whether you are a prospective client or a scheduled interviewee, here is a look at how we capture authentic stories for the UK’s third sector.

Who We Are

Based in Cardiff, we are a video production company specialising in third sector storytelling and bilingual content (Welsh and English). Since 2017, we have been helping charities and community organisations across the UK share thoughtful, engaging, and community-led narratives. When you work with us, you are in safe, experienced hands.

Comfort is Key

When you arrive on set, you’ll be met by our friendly team and a professional filming setup (similar to the image below). While the bright lights and cameras might look intimidating, they are simply the tools we use to make sure your story looks and sounds its best.

Before We Hit Record

We try to never rush straight into filming. We’ll take time to:

Build Rapport: We’ll spend some time before filming to chat and help settle any nerves.

Set Expectations: We’ll walk you through the questions and themes we’ll be touching on. Depending on the project, we may provide bullet points in advance.

Technical Setup: We’ll ensure you’re comfortable, whether sitting or standing, and securely attach a small, discreet lapel microphone (often called a ‘Lav’ mic).

Navigating the Questions

This is the part most people find daunting, but here is the secret: It isn’t live television.

No Pressure: There is no need to be “perfect” on the first take – This isn’t the One Show. We have plenty of time to rephrase or restart.

The Magic of Editing: Because we use multiple camera angles, we can seamlessly edit the best parts of your answers together to create a slick, professional result.

Authentic Voices: We use open-ended questions to let your genuine experience shine through. Your voice is what gives these case studies life and purpose.

Pro Tip: Incorporate the Question to help us tell a clear story, we ask that you include the question in your answer. For example, if we ask “What is your favourite colour?”, instead of saying “Blue,” you might say, “My favourite colour is blue.” This provides the necessary context for the viewer.

Why your story matters

Once the interview is complete, we’ll ask you to sign a simple release form. These videos often live on charity websites, YouTube, and social media channels to showcase the vital fundraising and community work being done across the UK.

Your interview has the power to drive real impact, and we are honoured to provide the space for you to reflect on your experiences.

We look forward to working with you!
