‘Cwm Taf People First – VIVA Fest’

VIVA Fest (Vision, Inclusion, Voice, Advocacy) was a festival created by and for people with learning disabilities.

In 2022 and 2023, Cwm Taf People First held festivals in Treharris and Brynmawr and we were lucky enough to capture both events.

The festivals are about bringing people together and including people. And for many attendees, it was their first festival experience. The festivals included information stalls, talks, activities, crafts, performers, live music and more.

Festival go-er Lois said it was ‘Fandabidozi!

We hope there’ll be more events like this in the future.
